Summary
Thorin and his cousin Dwalin have gone to the local fair, and whilst there, Thorin meets the love of his life, one Bilbo Baggins. A stuffy little Englishman who is leaving the next day.
Thorin has met the one his heart longs for and lost him all at the same time; all he can do is hope he will see Bilbo again in the future.

Bilbo is unsure how his first shift with Thorin and his Company will go. No one is sure what the other races shift into, and he is no exception. All he can do is hope it goes well and he, nor anyone else, gets harmed as they are forced to change from dwarves and hobbits to animals unknown to one another.

All apart from Thorin and his Company, who have left Dis in charge of Erebor as they go on a fool’s errand to see if their hobbit is even still alive, and if he is, can Thorin convince Bilbo to leave the Shire, whatever is left of it, and return to safety and Erebor with him?
