Jason was his soulmate, had been for nearly a decade, but they couldn’t even be called friends, let alone lovers. Despite all this time, or maybe because of it, Jason had yet to realize he was in love with Tim or even fall in love with him at all.

Unas manos capaces de tanta violencia y tanta bondad; los medios nunca lograban decidir si era héroe o villano, capo del crimen o salvador. Era ambas cosas a la vez, ninguna. Comprender plenamente a Jason era albergar ambas facetas en la mente y deleitarse con las delicadas capas superpuestas, como caleidoscopios, que conformaban a una sola persona.

After the Justice League confronts Red Hood and Arsenal about the co-dependent nature of their relationship, the pair of Outlaws (who are not together), agree to go to therapy. It just happens to be couple's counselling. (Attempted crack treated seriously, but tbh the crack falls off part of the way through. Then it's just regular serious angst.)

At no point is that appropriate for the 'we don't kill people' guy, but especially when it's his own son. You died, Jason. You died, you came back, and when you asked him to pick between you and your murderer, he didn't pick you. You don't have to keep picking him."

Solo desea que Jason comprendiera que Bruce aceptaría cualquier forma que tuviera de Jason, sin importar lo herido, dañado, equivocado y destrozado que estuviera, porque ese era su cachorro, y con gusto lo llevaría a casa entre sus dientes.
Era una posesividad que rozaba la peligrosa obsesión, pero a Bruce no le importaba. Para un hombre cuya vida ha estado plagada de pérdidas, no sentía vergüenza alguna por aferrarse a todos sus tesoros restantes con una furia feroz y despiadada. "
