Summary
The T.I.M.E. Agency is a secret organization that monitors time streams. Whenever there are any anomalies, a team will be send to investigate these anomalies. Each member's consciousness will then be transported into a host body, while their own bodies stay protected in stasis. This process however, also includes, that the members might gain certain quirks of the hosts for the duration of the mission (i.e. paranoia, claustrophobia, a twitching eye etc., also they adapt language skills, while not losing their own abilities).
While time travel is generally forbidden by law, many different forms of time travel exist and among thieves trying to enrich themselves, there are harmless tourists who are just fascinated by witnessing the sinking of the Titanic.
But that harmless time travel is not always the case, there are huge criminal organizations who try to shape the world through history for their own benefit. There are many reasons for the T.I.M.E. Team to be send into the past.

Jason's jaw dropped. “Wait, what? Hold up, man, you- You're allowed to just hit up a freakin’ god?”
“Under these circumstances, yeah,” the guy said primly. “I've got connections, little bird, and I've dealt with him before, much to my Bruce's annoyance.”
Bruce pulled the Cowl off with a glare. “Dr. Fate is not someone you can just call at your whim.”
A snort came from the helmet. “He is if I'm at risk of collapsing the multiverse. Now, y’gonna let me use your fancy-ass supercomputer to call the Justice League, or do I have'ta call Constantine?”
Bruce looked like he'd bitten into a lemon. “We'll take the Zeta.”
