Tricking Azul was always going to be a long shot, but his exasperated sigh as he looks between Jade and Floyd and pinches the bridge of his nose with a gloved hand is more than enough gratification to justify the effort.
Floyd—who’s polished up his appearance for the day—snickers, “Aw, c’mon, ya couldn't even humor us?”
“You both already do enough of that yourselves. You don't need me enabling you,” Azul chides. “Did you truly think I wouldn't be able to tell you two apart?”
“No, to be completely honest,” Jade says, a thin streak of black hair parted opposite the usual, the vest and blazer of his uniform fully open, bowtie draped around his neck. “But it did take you longer than I expected. Do we really look that similar?”
“You're twins,” Azul deadpans. “It’s also barely six in the morning, and I’m not wearing my glasses.” He pauses. “You’re not really planning on going about your day like this, are you?”
Neither of them respond, and he sighs heavily.

Summary
One, there was no scenario in which Ruggie would help someone without something in return and two, no scenario in which he would receive help without promising something. So romantic relationships? Where people depended on each other for no reason other than "love"? No. Absolutely not. Simply thinking about it made him shudder, and if suppressing crushes was the method to get past unnecessary feelings for people like the Prefect, he would do it for all eternity.
That is, until the two of you get forced into a pair project.
