Summary
After Simon was miraculously saved and the black box was recovered from the blood ocean surface, people on the C.O.I. station hurried to make sense of what happened. Ramona, a marine biologist who's job has been geared more towards the biology of the blood oceans, has been tasked with studying what the giant monster down in the crimson depths was.
She tries to get more information after feeling stuck, so she goes to Simon for a direct testimony. She learns more about it, but she also realizes how much she cares for this man, after all the injustice he's been through. Overtime, the two start to bond, and they both feel a lot more free with each other by their side.
