Summary
Makima's life is not what it one was. Once, she was on her way to the top of the world, sitting upon a throne that would guide the world into her perfections, but it took only a few minutes, a weakness on her part to cast her so far down, further than she could have ever expected, and now she lives with Denji's chains around her neck, living him as his prisoner. Every day she suffers his existence is one she sees as a chance to take some measure of control from him, however degrading it becomes.
It's stressful, it's tiring, it's exhausting.
One day however, after a particularly bad day of this dreary existence, she lets go.
