Summary
Red spent 17 years of her life with her mother, being… let's face it, abused. After an anonymous tip, justice is finally served, and Bridget Heart is incarcerated. Red is then thrust into the world of foster homes and families. She must reinvent herself, or rather… discover herself, without the constant and threatening shadow of her mother. But her past has left deep scars, both physical and psychological.
The Charmings are a loving, caring, and respectful family. They are finalizing the process to become a foster family and help young people in need. Chloé, their daughter, is the embodiment of kindness and perfection. Perhaps… too perfect?
When the two meet, they are complete opposites. But Chloé is determined to help Red and make a difference in her life. Everyone deserves to be happy in life, even Red… especially Red.
