‘This world. Why is it so cruel? Why does to want to rip my heart out and turn it to cinders? What have I done wrong?’ these are the kind of thoughts that play on repeat in one kid, a single, ‘quirkless’ 11-year-old genius’s mind. But these are the questions that should really be on everyone’s minds, Why Does the world have to be so cruel? Why does it want to kill innocent people, well however ‘innocent’ someone can be in a world riddles with murder, rape, bullying, discrimination, sexism, racism, lust, greed, revenge…the list could go on forever if you want it to.
Why does all this happen? The answers quite simple, Human desire, Instinct. The offspring of those ‘Instincts’ can be called emotion, and emotion is what drives people to feel angry and hurt people, feel sad and help people, to feel happy and forget unpleasant things. Living in a world full of instinct and desire there is no way to avoid the inevitable conflicted that comes with it, no way to stop.
