Not monster-of-the-week weird , although there is that too. Tommy would stare disbelievingly at him if Merton told him how reassuring that is, Merton thinks, but it's true. After a year of hanging with Tommy, he's gotten used to weird ass things happening, and he's always been into the occult anyway, so, yeah, it's kind of comforting that things keep happening. // written for the New Year Resolutions Challenge 2005

Summary
While on a hunt, Sam and Dean get hit with a curse that forces Dean's soul into Sam's body. Cramped and panicking, the two figure out how to man one body while painful truths come to light, unable to be hidden. With some help from an angel and a baseball cap-wearing guardian, maybe they'll find a way to break it.
Set sometime after Season 4 Episode Yellow Fever, where the threat of Lucifer is high. Inspired heavily by a book about possession I recently read.

Summary
Bobby once thought watching two children was damn hard, turns out looking after two teenagers is a lot harder. Dean is a bear with a sore head these days, anytime Bobby sees him. Always sulking or complaining about their dad leaving them and not needing a babysitter. Bobby wishes he would stop his belly aching and just deal already. Sam, to his credit, is a quieter teen, his head stuck in some school or lore book more times than not. He seems hell bent on ignoring Dean’s complains about their dad, rolling his eyes more than once as he sinks lower into the couch, dipping his head closer to his book.
What happens when Bobby witnesses Dean hitting Sam.....Can Bobby get through to them before it's too late to come back?

Sam’s in a coma after he fails to complete the trials. Everyone’s telling Dean that his brother most likely won’t recover, that the machines will keep him alive but he most likely won’t wake up.

Au where Gadreel doesn’t end up possessing Sam. Sam’s still stuck in a coma but Dean is convinced he can find a way to save him with a little help from Cas, and little too much help from dream root.
