Fuck. He’d said ‘alone in a room.’ That meant he was losing time, fast. Or at least context, but probably time as well.
Warriors tried not to think about being on your seventh adventure at nineteen, alone in a room you didn’t recognize, and haunted by your worst enemy. There wasn’t much else to think about.
“No one else is here,” Legend said again, and Wars could see the faint, barely noticeable shake in his hands. “You aren’t real. You aren’t fucking real.”
