Light gently glides over the restored stained glass.
The city beneath the dome breathes — calmly, devotedly, almost gratefully.
Pure Vanilla walks familiar corridors, pouring warmth into his voice, addressing each one — as he once did.
His smile — bright. His words — gentle. His hands — still trembling.But beneath the thin fabric — his skin stretches with every step.
The bones of his shoulder blades ache from the strain, and he does not allow himself to flinch.Shadows flicker in the mirrored panels. His own gaze — soft, but empty. And behind it, almost inaudible:
"You wear that mask again…"
"They don’t ask how you are. It’s easier for them that you smile."
"You say everything is fine — and they believe. Because they want to believe."
"But you remember what truth is. Truth — it hurts."Yet he walks on.
Because it’s better — to be silent.
Because gentle lies sound sweeter than someone else’s indifference.And no one sees.

Світло м’яко ковзає по відреставрованих вітражах.
Місто під куполом дихає — спокійно, віддано, майже вдячно.
Чиста Ваніль іде знайомими коридорами, вкладає в голос тепло, звертається до кожного — як колись.
Його усмішка — світла. Його слова — лагідні. Його руки — ще тремтять.А під тонкою тканиною — шкіра натягується з кожним кроком.

The boy shivered and stopped. His head tilted slightly to the side, listening.
— I’m not asking for anything. Can I just… stay for the night?
— People don’t come here, — soft. — And even less — they don’t ask.
— Because they have somewhere else to go.
He stood silently.
Shadow Milk studied him. His eyes were closed — not out of offense, but blindness.
His blood smelled like spring. Pure. Like a sin untouched by anyone.
Mercy…
Just one night. To let him in. To feed him. To dry him…

The cravings have gotten so intense ever since Shadow Milk started hanging around more often. It's just as bad as it had been when he was with White Lily at the Academy, if not worse. Obviously he couldn’t act on these desires. So he dealt with it the only way he knew how, he ignored the hell out of it.
Sure, sometimes the mere idea of holding his bluebird close, and pulling aside that frilly little collar kept him up at night. Sure, sometimes he snuck off to the castle's hospital wing and snagged one or two teeny tiny little bags of donated blood, but it was fine. Until it wasn't fine.
Obviously he hadn't ever intended for the object of his desires to find out.Or
Pure Vanilla, a vampire, has starved himself for centuries, living only off of what was strictly necessary. It's difficult, but he's gotten extremely good at controlling his urges. Until a certain blue jester shows up in the vanilla castle, casually flaunting his bare neck, and unintentionally driving the poor vampire up the wall with hunger. Pure Vanilla's secret is not a secret for very much longer.

Summary
At the chaotic Citadel of Runes and Knowledge University, brooding outcast Shadow Milk Cookie and golden-boy Pure Vanilla Cookie are reluctantly partnered for a high-stakes magical assignment. Old feelings resurface, tensions spark, and a spell mishap causes them to swap personalities.
Now Shadow’s stuck being polite and sweet, while Vanilla suddenly craves destruction and eyeliner. With their worlds flipped and feelings exposed, they must learn to work together to hide this from their friends and fix it, or risk magical collapse and emotional disaster.
