Summary
"We have an envelope here that will tell us the result." Wooyoung watches as Yeosang finally steps closer, his eyes trained on the white paper that wraps around the dreams and future of the three of them. "We decided to open it here with you guys. We went through a lot of trouble getting Yeosang to see the doctor without finding out right away. So, without further adieu."
The unveiling of this secret would change their lives forever. If Yeosang was carrying their baby, his apartment would be emptied and everything moved into San's and Wooyoung's house where they'd take care of him. If he was pregnant, he'd gain weight and have mood swings that might make him say terrible things to the people he loves. If that envelope told them he was with child, then he'd carry it for nine months, give birth, and then give them away.
He wasn't attached like Seonghwa, at least not to the baby.

When Wooyoung and San had first asked Yeosang to be their surrogate, he had accepted without thinking of the consequences. It was purely selfish and played into his delusional fantasy of some day being their Omega.

Summary
“Baby, we should talk about it,” Wooyoung murmurs, breath warm against Yeosang’s lips.
“I know.” Yeosang closes his eyes against the hot tears building there and drops his forehead against Wooyoung’s, ignoring the twinge in his neck from the odd angle. “I know. I just… I can’t. Not tonight.”
“Okay. What do you need for tonight, then?”
A couple of different things immediately spring to mind, borderline delusional wishes that would nonetheless solve Yeosang’s problems - a billion won, a better job, a therapist that he actually clicks with. But while all of those would be nice, there’s something else that, while it won’t actually solve any of his issues in the long run, will at least make him feel something other than the exhaustion and numbness sitting heavy on his mind.
“Kiss me.” He rubs his thumb along the sharp line of Wooyoung’s jaw, following a path that he long ago memorized but loves to walk down nonetheless. “Please kiss me, Young-ah.”

“I thought you would have…” they trail off. Their smooth, deep voice choked with awkwardness. Wooyoung blushes, he was expected to leave while they were out. This is just as painful as he guessed it would be.
“Yeah I.. sorry I was just leaving.. I can?” He gestures towards the door behind them with a raised eyebrow. It’d make sense if they wanted to kick him out. Get on with their morning and let the alcohol fueled memories of last night fade away. He offers it half heartedly, but still offers.
It’s pitiful how much he hopes they don't take him up on it.
They continue to stand stock still, eyes locked on his face. He’s never been patient and it’s worse when he wants so badly to stay. Wants them to deny his offer to leave and tackle him back into the bed they shared last night. Help him jog more memories.
He shifts beneath their gaze.
The moment drags uncomfortably long.
And then they shake off whatever thought they were trapped in, decided, and step through the door. Closing it behind them.or
