Summary
Catalina's life up in the Córdoba hills has always been small. The kind of life where nothing much changes and the apocalypse ticks by agonisingly slowly.
Then a crossbow-wielding, half-dead American drags himself out of the heat and collapses on the banks of the Río Tinto, and she makes the mistake of not walking away.
Loosely inspired by the Daryl Dixon spin-off where he ends up in Spain, and set in Córdoba because that's where I'm from. There are a few geographical inaccuracies I'm hoping you'll forgive. :)
The burn is slow, but when it gets there, it gets there. Things get progressively kinkier as they go.

‘Hang on I have to take this’ Will said as he walked to the opposite side of the lab keeping his back to the room to press the answer button, accidentally putting it on speaker.
‘DADDY! tell Papa he is being so unfair, you have to tell him that he is wrong’ a kid's voice yelled through the phone, echoing around the lab.
He swore under his breath and fumbled to get it off speaker. ‘One moment honey’ he said in a slightly panicked tone. ‘Ok what is it sweetheart?’ Will sighed, still on edge but now off speaker.

Will and Hannibal are married, not everyone knows they are married to each other. They enjoy causing confusion and menace wherever they go and so do their children.

Summary
