As Dick returns to the Bludhaven Police Academy, he still struggles with negative thoughts and his changing desire to stay alive, but he's living with Jason now, and that should help him move forward. Only Jason hasn't been the same since the incident with M'gann. There's something up with Tim, but the teenager isn't talking. Dick's pretty positive that Cassandra is the child Bruce always wanted. Speaking of Bruce, he hasn't talked to the man since he left the note on the Batcomputer, and Alfred's expecting him Sunday...
TW: Frank discussions of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and suicide idealization. This is a fic where people get better, but recovery isn't a line, so there will be ups and downs.
