    It’s been months since Rasputin and Disappear-O the Magnificent almost sent Tony and the others to a watery grave. Things have been pleasantly looking up since then. For starters, Tony felt as close as ever with the kid. Of course, trying to distinguish the difference between normal teenage angst and something else that could be seriously wrong with his protege was proving to be...a challenge. And walking into the kitchen to find the Winter Soldier eating his food was not helping.

    Meanwhile, Peter has a whole new school year to look forward to. And with the addition of old friends popping back into his life, he was sure things could only get better from this point on. Sure, sleeping was a little rough lately, but no big deal. And he really needed to figure out how to remove this black slime from his backpack. But yeah, everything’s great.

    Things were great. Totally great.

    Although, now that he was being honest with himself, Peter was feeling a bit sick lately. And for real, what was with this black slime?

    (Or: OsCorp is inadvertently ruining everyone's lives and Tony is done with this B.S.)

    AU from 4X01. 48 hours. 48 hours is the timeline when someone is taken. After 48 hours, the percentage of finding them alive is greatly decreased. It's been over a year. (The rescue in Mexico doesn't go quite as the McCall pack had hoped) Rating for language and violence.

    They say that when someone goes missing, there’s a 48-hour window. That’s it. 48 hours. That’s 2,880 minutes. In the grand scheme of things, it’s such a laughably miniscule amount of time to be searching for someone until all hope is lost.

    But this was a proven fact. 48 hours and the percentage of finding the person – particularly alive and still in one piece – drastically drops until, mathematically speaking, there was no hope to find them.

    Phil turned over his tablet. “Look at this.”

     
    “I’m amazing, I’m incredible-” Iron Man said on screen. “Bow down before the Iron Man!”

    Three people immediately do so, mockingly. “All hail the Iron Dick,” The Black Widow said.

    “My dick is pure gold, excuse you. All of you would jump at the chance to get some of this,” Iron Man gestures to his crotch with both hands.

     
    “I’ve been reviewing stuff like this for months,” Phil said. “I’m so tired of dick jokes.”

    Fury laughed at him.

     

    Or- A bunch of teenagers decided to form a vigilante team and destroy the corrupt while making bad dick jokes and being the assholes they were meant to be.
     
    On hiatus for massive renovations plus the development of a really long prequel! Sorry! Not abandoned though!
