This is one of the best fanfic's I have ever read. This truly felt like it could have been canon in an alternate universe. If you like Batman, or DC, this is worth the read. However, this is not a happy story, and I will admit I cried multiple times. You can feel the fear and tension in every scene, and I found myself scared to keep reading a couple times. The infection itself is very thought out, and such a good antagonist. There is major character death however, and I'm heartbroken, but don't let that stop you. This is a masterpiece.

This made me cry, like, a lot. Kinda healing if I'm being honest. Whatever I expected going into this was immediately blown away by how better it was than I could have imagined. Very death and Dipper centric story. Crazy plot twist I did not expect.

“You're really sticking to that?” The reflections in his glasses hid his eyes. Two cat-like pupils stared back in their place, emoting asynchronously to his tone of voice–red-raw, sleepless, moving in uncanny lockstep. Pale, wispy lashes custom-framed them with the aesthetic appeal of a binder sleeve, visually overpowered by the smudges on the glass. The sight turned Bill's stomach.OR: Bill did therapy! But nobody really cares.

cruel and unusual, i love it. bill gets sent back to the pines after theraphy and has a lot of progress thrown backwards from Ford, and yet still makes more. feat. awesome mabel, totally slaying bill, and mild torture!!!
