Summary
Klavier likes to keep sex fun and simple. If he gets an unexpected erection to thoughts about his courtroom rival, he'll casually take care of it in private without thinking too deeply about his one-off sexual fantasies. It doesn't have to be anything more than a quick, enjoyable act of releasing pent-up tension from his body or grow into something deeper and more complicated.

What starts as a curious present becomes an attempt to crack open a case...and later, an object of sentiment for a smitten prosecutor.
Now we just have to wonder when Apollo will finally notice.

Apollo gets caught in the rain, and then caught again fixing his hair in Klavier's car mirror. And, through some impossible butterfly-effect, this simple act causes he and Klavier to swap clothes not once, but twice, Eldoon's Noodles to become the backdrop for absolution, and Klavier to fall perfectly into the lap of Apollo's two wingmen: a cat, and the memory of his dead best friend.
All in all, not the most normal of days.

“We’re calling ‘cause I don’t believe you’re dating Apollo,” Athena chimes, because of course she does. “He’s telling me he’s got all these big plans with his boyfriend that mean he can’t come out drinking with me, and, well, forgive me if Apollo doesn’t seem enough of a catch for that—”
Klavier is silent. There’s not even background noise from his end of the call. Take the fucking hint, Apollo thinks hysterically. Then Klavier laughs under his breath, and Apollo's fucked, he’s absolutely fucked—“Ach, you let the cat out of the bag so soon, schatzi?”
Or: Klavier's a good friend. Good enough that he'll fake-date Apollo to protect him from Athena's wrath, even.
