And this right here is Felix's third mistake, the fact that instead of turning towards the kitchen where the voice came from like he chooses to do, he should have run out of the front door without sparing a single glance backwards. Because when he looks over at Jeongin's dad – as that's the only person whom the voice could possibly belong to – Felix's mind empties of every thought that isn't “God, he's so hot” or, when he gives him a slow once-over, “Shit, I bet he's big” and then immediately after that, “I need to have his dick in my mouth”.

Hongjoong has always wanted to do something to make a difference, something that will change the world for the better. He knows that he can't help everyone, but if he could start with even just one person, he'd consider himself satisfied. That's why he decides to adopt a stray hybrid.
He obviously expects them to be scared, maybe someone who will act very shy and skittish.
Instead he gets Seonghwa, who seems to be neither of those things.
Case in point:
“Wait, you're the one who's supposed to be my new owner? You can barely reach my shoulders,” the hybrid says mockingly while staring directly at him. “Are you sure you're not an hybrid yourself? A squirrel, or maybe a little mouse?”
...Well, no chance of them ever getting along, he thinks as he stares at the individual who he's sure will become his main source of headaches for the foreseeable future.

He wants to watch over Mo Ran for the last time, watching him sleep peacefully and impressing the face that he adores so much in his memory, so that he'll never forget it again.
Only, Mo Ran's face is contorted in a grimace tonight, and his sleep is not peaceful in the slightest.
So he hesitantly takes a step closer to the bed and then another one, until his knees brush against the wood of the bedframe. He gingerly sits on the bed, just beside Mo Ran, and puts a trembling hand on his head. Gently, careful not to wake him up, he starts to stroke his hair, in the manner that he often saw human mothers do to comfort their crying children.

Summary
He's just thinking about stopping to eat at the park nearby, when he sees him. He's sitting alone on a bench, munching on something and looking all forlorn and cute. He really does resemble a little kitten – the kind that you see in a cardboard box at the side of the road with a handwritten sign that says 'adopt me' or 'looking for a new home'. Mo Ran would adopt him in a heartbeat.
The more he thinks about it, the more he's convinced that Wanning would definitely be the kind of cat that ignores you every time that you try to pet him, but then comes looking for you when you stop giving him attentions for more than a few minutes. A prissy, white cat.

Summary
The whole situation was so surreal that Mo Ran was inclined to believe that she had simply hallucinated it, but the way Wanning widened her eyes, quickly made her reconsider. Even more telling was the fact that Wanning's line of sight was trained not on her face, but on her chest. She never had someone stare this intently at her.
It should be known that Mo Ran rarely denied herself what she wanted. And right now what she wanted the most was to have her laoshi look at her like that again- to have her so engrossed that, at least for a moment, she forgot to be always so prim and proper.
After an incident in the bathroom Mo Ran is desperate to capture again her laoshi's attention
