“When he speaks,” Cody corrects.
“Guys, you don’t know that,” Bly says. “He could be just as smitten. Rex, you dated a Mandalorian once. Tell them.”
All eyes land on Rex. He begins to sink into his chair.(Rex dated the Armorer back in the day and finds her again when he meets the guy who Boba is trying to court.)

Summary
Din has his son back, but still lacks his creed. He needs to go to Mandalore, but fears it. A tour of the universe with his son, hitting the highlights of their time together seems a nice excuse to avoid Mandalore a little longer. But a stop on Tython gives the Force other ideas for how a Mandokarla Mandalorian might be of use, thirty odd years ago. In just the right moment, the right place.

Great short little fic. Starts with the same premise of The Mandalorian and Grogu falling back in time and crushing the Chancellor to death.
But in this one, it is more focused on Din and his Creed. He appoints a goran to the Vive Chancellorship and is redeemed in his Creed by a Creed bound goran. It ends with him adopting Grogu formally with the Mandalorian words of adoption.
Read up to Chapter 9, which is what was finished by 6/10/2024

Din finds his covert and decides to become Mandalore to reunite the clans. He saves Cara Dune while rescuing a bunch of Mandalorian and their families from an Imperial light cruiser. They also found three force kids, and rescue them. When they take the kids, plus Paz and Cara to Yavin 4 for Luke's Jedi kid academy, the run into Leia Organa, who dazzles Cara. Din and Grogu bond, and it is hella cute.
I loved this fic and want more. Super short but hella cute and great storytelling.

Summary
Din Djarin doesn't know how to politic, or how to human, really. So he does his own thing, and somehow, it gets him places.
There is no Din shipping here. It might seem like there is, but there really is none. He's got friends, he's good, thanks. And found family, just to make it harder for him to take a damn nap.In short: how throughout the years of his reign the Mand'alor Din Djarin somehow not only manages to not die, but also makes the Outer Rim folks get along. In a true Djarin fashion, he achieves that through the power of not giving a fuck, and being a generally nice guy that incidentally has far more power than he'd like.
