   This started as a one-shot joke, and has since become a fully-fledged AU with 100+ chapters of backstory. Since the second anniversary of me starting this project is approaching, I've decided it's time to share it with the world.

   Note: On re-reading this recently, I’ve realized how many spoilers for the Origins series are in here. I’m leaving it up because it has kudos, bookmarks, and comments, but I highly recommend new readers of the series wait to start this one until Origins is finished. It will probably make more sense after then anyway.
