Richard Parker dreamt of a life with the bats. Everyday, he mourned a family and a life that he never had. The name ‘Grayson’ loomed over him, even though logically, he knew, the name never belonged to him.
The life he led was full of love, of stability. So what was the void that consumed him? Why did he dream of flying?
OR: Peter in Gotham fic except Dick Grayson and Richard Parker were the same person, instead of being alternate versions of each other. Also, I fuck with the mcu timeline because canon is merely inspiration.

In other words, here is my take on Dick Grayson being Peter Parker's parent.After the snap, Peter does not get the sweet release of death that he expected. No. Instead, he wakes up in a four-year-old body roaming the streets of New York City with nothing but fragments of memories and the whispers of ghosts to keep him company.
Dick feels like throwing up. Jason uses humor to cope. Tim is an energy-drinking stalker fiend. Bruce is trying not to overstep boundaries. Damian thinks his entire family is full of idiots.
Summary will probably change once I get a better idea of how I want this story to go.

So even with pain in his body, especially in his arms, he tried to hack the security system—and he half succeeded. The bad part was that he was leaving smears of blood on the table and keyboard, and worse still, someone was coming. So he hid, and when the two men didn’t notice him, he tried to escape upstairs from where they had come. But he was caught by the kind butler. What to do next, Peter didn’t know, but the pastry the butler gave him was delicious—and at least it was some food and happiness for him after all this time...
