They say the Third Shinobi World War ends on the day of the explosion on the Kannabi Bridge in one part of the world, and with the battle between Yellow Lightning and the newly appointed Raikage in another.
That’s not entirely true, but it’s not far from the truth.
The war truly ends on the day the Third Mizukage’s head rolls across the floor, and standing over it is a young man whom no one has ever seen before. On that day, Kirigakure fell as it was known, and all who saw that young man’s face either perished or joined him. The earth soaked up the blood, and the rains washed away the remains when the young man, who did not belong here — who had never been one of those born in these lands — left everyone with a choice: submit or die.

Hooooolyty shit this is fucking amazing???? An obito centric fic!!! He time travels back to 13, kills Madara, betrays zestsu but still massacres Kirigakue and becomes Mizukage!!! He’s actually a great leader despite murdwring most of the population and they love him!! Abused relationship or something?? He doesn’t pretend to be Madar and adopts Hakushi (kakashi’s half brother) and other kids!!! Izumi is Shishu’s mom and he kidnaps her, makes friends with Rain & kinda murders Iri a whole damn nation wow!!! The whole world receives its ashes and its fucking terrified.
There’s great background and character analysis!! Ho (Obito’s dad) Izumi (Ho’s sister) Sakumo are friends!! Orochimaru was also friends wow!! And then lotsass backstory very intriguing. Fugaku looks up to Ho. Shishu abandons Konoha and Uchiha are thinking of leaving to Kiri. Elders are killed + Danzo by Obito and truth is revealed.
There’s also Asura/Obito mainly one sided and kinda rapey but ok. There’s implied rape with Tobirama/ Kagami Uchiha and wow.
I think all the PoVs are generally interesting but I gotta say there’s a shit Ron of characters. Very well done but I want more Obito. Obito also swallowed a flower that undid Swirly & basically revived him no Mokuton :(((
