Summary
Danny leaves Taylor's life after the death of her mother, leaving her isolated and alone in the wake of one of the worst moments in her life, clinging to the hope that he might take her back. That hope dies when she hears him signing her away to the Barnes, stripping her of her home and family and leaving her feeling completely alone and helpless in the world.
She triggers with the power to enact change, upon herself and upon the world, a power that enables the worst parts of herself. She takes it and trudges through a world more hostile than canon, facing problems personal and parahuman, all with a singular goal; become a hero.
Become someone no one can ignore, someone no one would ever want to abandon, no matter the cost.

Summary
Dimitri finds himself trapped and without the purpose that has defined him for as long as he can remember. Without that duty, he is left quite empty, hollow in a way that he had not felt in a very long time. That hollowness gives way to reflection.
Given the chance to return to a world populated with people, and new monsters to hunt, he is forced to either face and overcome the horrors that he has subjected himself to and find a new purpose, or fall once more into his lonely role as a Hunter in Fire.

Summary
Many Arcane fic writers are not League of Legends players, the video game that the show is based on, so I put together this primer to help writers create canon-compliant works. It includes: character ages, the show's timeline, characters' in-game bios (with commentary about their connection to Arcane), an overview of the Piltover/Zaun conflict, brief descriptions of the surrounding regions, and detailed descriptions of Piltover/Zaun's layout and geography.
To do: world timeline, local religion(s), species, magic
Now with visual aids to help spark inspiration! There's maps of both Piltover/Zaun, their denizens and the technology they created, and some glimpses into the world around them. (Best viewed on desktop, as they're quite large.)
