Based on the recent episode where Morgan gets 20 heroes’ kids dumped on them during an apocalypse. The episode reminded me about the apocalypse babysitter story on tumblr and I had to write something.

It's well known that dragons choose when they hatch. Few mages have tried to hatch a dragon and none have succeeded. As head of the mage tower, Alex decides to change that.
The only problem is, the egg refuses to hatch. Nearly two years and Alex is no closer to getting his dragonling to get out of its shell. That is until an irritated person called 'Morgan' shows up at the tower demanding to be let in. Alex can scarcely believe his dragon hatches at the first touch from the stranger.
