Summary
In which Crowley did not end up sleeping through most of the 19th century, and in which Aziraphale’s mysterious guest draws the speculation of his neighbors. Lots of hopefully fun Victorian/historical references. also yes, it's a songfic--each chapter is a Rufus Wainwright song!
“Dearest Crowley,” the letter began, “Would you be so kind as to meet me at the bookstore at your next convenience? Now dear, it’s nothing serious, so you needn’t worry, though I am fairly certain that I would quite appreciate it if you could please get around to coming by before…the end of the year? Yes, Crowley, I really don’t know what to say. I know you’re still mad about…all that from a couple decades ago, but frankly, it’s absurd. Do come by sometime. I should be here most of the time; I really don’t go out much, but I always welcome you to make yourself at home if I’m away.”
