All of them were looking forward to a warm dinner and perhaps reading a book. All except two. This is the story of what happened to those two on that cold, rainy night in Paris.

There is a voice. No please, leave me alone, I’m suffocating, there isn’t enough air for me let alone the both of us, I can’t breathe, can’t...
But the voice insists. It’s warm and clear and hoarse and gentle, and it echoes through the buzzing in his head. “Enjolras, can you hear me?”
Someone is closer, he can feel it, someone is kneeling near him. His vision is going black.
He knows that voice, somehow he wants to grip from it yet he’s sure he hates it, he can’t now, he needs to be alone, suddenly there is too much air, his head is filling light, his heartbeat frenzied and irregular against his ribs.
“Enjolras, will you let me help you?”

Simon’s arms circled the other boy’s waist, pulling him closer, “You don’t have to apologize, I just- did I do something? Was it something I said or?”
“It um- it was the author, talking about her and what she did.”
“How she killed herself?”
“Yeah.”
A dark heavy feeling made itself a home in Simon’s chest, he hummed and pulled Wille impossibly closer to his side. He thought he knew where this story is about to go and he really really wanted to be wrong.
