The Thunderbolts* appear to have fallen on their feet, the blazing light of the cameras offering up a parade of second, third, or fourth chances. They'll work it out. Make it up as they go along. Definitely. Maybe.
There is love, hope, and forgiveness to be found on this journey, but the questions also begin to stack up: the precise nature and the price of freedom and redemption, the purpose of heroes in a world apparently held together by spit and duct tape, how to prevent the abyss from swallowing you whole, and whether there ever even was a there to go back to if you have, even once, stepped through the glass.

Summary
Time passes strangely on the road. Days blur into each other like molasses, slow and heavy and unmarked, broken seemingly at random by the admission from one to the other that brings the kill, the subsequent burst of frenetic activity. The aching blue of the sky, the wheel of the stars marching alongside them through the dust as they slept or drove through the night as the fancy took them, had held no particular revelations.
All this to say, it just hadn’t really occurred to her until right now, cramped into the bathroom of a random gas station, when her hand had come away bloody.

Summary
Steve Rogers is a seasoned activist and not at all afraid to get arrested while protesting the building of a pipeline. HOWEVER he is TERRIFIED when he realizes he’ll be chained to the same backhoe as Bucky “very handsome southern boy who also plays guitar and struts like a panther in his very tight, worn thin blue jeans” Barnes.
Our brave, tiny Steve will find out once and for all: Can you catch on fire from blushing over your crush?
May Contain: Extended descriptions of how to get arrested while chained to a backhoe, copious amounts of sisters, Appalachian accents, cheerful silliness interspersed with tragic background realness. Pining with a happy ending. Chicken related controversy.
Tragic background realness mainly consists of parents passing away, because who doesn’t love adult orphans. Discussion of funerals. Very brief homophobic interaction in chapter 18 (marked in the chapter intro notes). There is no violence, but there are a few moments where you might think there might be violence. Overall this is a romance not a gritty, hard hitting documentary.
If I missed any potential triggers I always appreciate being told as I know what it's like to have my day/etc ruined by something in a fic.

Summary
Grace and Rocky have finally arrived to Erid after an incredibly difficult journey. Now, all that’s left to do is to get Grace to his newly-constructed Biodome on Erid’s surface. Unfortunately for Grace, this means taking the space elevator. Grace isn’t much of a fan of elevators in general and isn’t looking forward to the trip, but he thinks he can get through it with Rocky at his side.
There’s only one problem. Grace realizes too late that in the chaos of getting ready to leave the ship, he’d neglected to do something important: he forgot to use the bathroom.
That’s fine, though. The trip shouldn’t take more than an hour or two. He can hold it that long, right?
…Yeah. He’ll be fine.

This fic contains explicit sex scenes, but they’re not the main focus. If you’re not into reading smut, you still can absolutely enjoy this story and simply skip those parts. Sexual content appears only toward the end of chapters 3, 4, and 5. You can safely read up to that point in each chapter and then jump to the beginning of the next chapter.This also works the other way around — if you’re here for just the smut and don't care much about the emotional buildup or aftermath, you can go straight to chapters 3, 4, and 5 (and scroll to the bottom).
I think the fic works best as a whole, but I understand everyone has different preferences :)

“Doc broke a tube of something, inhaled it, then fell in the middle of the lab. He said it was someone else’s. Smelled sweet.”
Stratt swears about a paragraph worth of German profanity.
“You’ve got the shape of it,” Carl says when she’s done. “You know what that was?”
She presses hard at her temple. “It was an experimental drug to manipulate neurotransmitters,” she spits out, her consonants especially harsh. “Meant to help the crew in their comas by stabilizing hormonal output.”
“It was supposed to,” Carl echoes. “Does it?”
When Stratt shakes her head sharply, her hair falls from its loose braid. “The very opposite. It was an abject failure—an aphrodisiac. Very potent.”
“Uh oh,” Grace says dreamily.
.....
When Grace has an accident in the lab and ingests an aphrodisiac, Carl takes him to the only person he knows with a private room. Stratt gets them through it.
