Clary forgot about the pretty boy and the girl with the knife. Her entire universe shrank to the wicked heat that sizzled through her every atom as the blond boy kissed her fiercely. Her hands lifted of their own accord to fist in the tight shirt he wore, pulled him closer while she stretched on her toes to better reach his mouth. She kissed him hungrily, her lips on fire and her soul alight, every part of her burning with the sudden and intense need to touch every inch of him.
