Just as his eyelids, tugged down with exhaustion, slipped shut, he further noted the dark city. He noted how the city kinda looked like.. No. NO.
Hal popped up, stumbling a bit at the lightheadedness caused by standing up so fast. He quickly recovered, hopping onto the edge railing, about to fly away. However, he’s stopped by a voice.
“Lantern.”
OR: After a night out with some friends goes south, Hal Jordan heads east to a certain city of darkness.

Edit: Heyhey guys, i just wanted you all to know that i haven't forgotten about this fic, and im working on rewrititng the first part because rereading it, i hated it. Summary
Ever since Dean could remember, Sam has been his responsibility. And ever since Dean could remember, his dad punished him accordingly if he failed at his job.
After all, “Sam is your responsibility Dean, and you will protect him with your life.”

Dean felt relief for a split second before he was backhanded across the face so hard he fell to the floor.
“What the hell were you thinking Dean?!” John shouted at him before pulling Sam into his arms. “You almost got your brother killed! All because you selfishly disobeyed my orders and were too much of a goddamn pussy to pull the trigger!”
Dean reached a trembling hand to the hot skin of his cheek as he stuttered out an apology. “I’m sorry dad. I wasn’t thinking, I-I’ll do better next time.”
His dad was glaring at him. “There won’t be a next time. You’re going to man up and learn how to kill monsters if it’s the last thing I do.”

Summary
Dean’s life is on the road. Passing through different towns one week to the next, following his dad’s orders, flirting and scamming his way through every bar in the Midwest.
So when he decides to head to sunny California for his brother’s graduation, he’s not expecting his whole world to flip on its head.
But it does.
With his dad in the hospital and Sam back in the picture for the first time in four years, Dean finds himself living a life he never dreamed of: mundane work days, lazy afternoons with his brother, nights out with real, honest-to-god friends.
It’s not what Dean is used to—not even what he wants, really—but the more time that passes, the more he begins to wonder if he can really let it all go when the time comes.
After all, his life is on the road, and soon enough it’s gonna come calling again.

Summary
After Princes Daeron and Aegon go missing, no one expects for the same fate to happen to Aerion Targaryen.
Dunk, while walking through the alleys of Flea Bottom, stumbles upon something he cannot unsee: a cloaked man, barely conscious, being dragged into a brothel.
Aerion, stripped of his name, his face, and everything that marks him as Targaryen, is reduced to something unrecognizable. He clings to pride and anger as long as he can, until even that is taken from him, and he finally breaks.
But despite what Aerion becomes, Dunk doesn’t give up. He doesn’t hurt him, force him, or look at him with anything other than patience and gentleness. Aerion waits for him to snap, but he never does.
