Summary
He won't let the other Gallaghers see him like this, especially not the younger ones. He sits in his and Ian's shared room instead, on the bed, and doesn't leave unless he has to. He doesn't want the questions, the looks, the prying that's a fucking staple in this household. He can't find the energy to get up, anyways. Hours go by in a blur as he gets lost in his own memories.
He startles as the door creaks open. Ian. Coming back from getting coffee downstairs.
"Hey," he hesitates at the door. Mickey doesn't answer, just continues to look at the dresser and wishes he could disappear. He's fucking pathetic.

Summary
Mickey takes another hit before swaying his knees into Ian's, offering the cigarette. Tami slows down. She wants to observe them. Dissect their interactions until she figures it all out. She stops to check on Fred. He's settled in for another nap, cheeks still flush confirming he's warm.
Tami makes sure not to peek at Ian finishing their cig and pulling Mickey in for a kiss. She definitely doesn't look at the red rush of Mickey's cheeks when he pulls back only to go back in for one more. She even misses the way Ian wraps an arm around Mickey's shoulders, pulling him in, Ian's arm landing across Mickey's pec. It's unfortunate she doesn't catch the way Mickey pulls away, only for Ian to gently grab his face and rub a thumb under his eye. She's sure if she were close enough to hear, Mickey would be purring like some kind of rehabilitated feral black cat that's had it's tail half chopped off.
She doesn't know what variety of fucked up plagues Mickey, but it's close enough to the Gallaghers' that she sees why they welcome him with open arms.

“Fuck if I know,” Mickey throws back, but his voice is slightly higher—slightly more worried—than usual. “I found her like that.”
