Summary
“I am many things,” Merlin said, already enjoying himself. It was to get the information, he promised—that was all that it was. “But you may refer to me as the Dolma.”
“The…what?”
“The Dolma!” he yelled, snapping at the man who had, in his opinion, a terrible looking beard.
“Okay? Am I supposed to know who that is, old hag?”
“Old hag? Oh, how dare you, you…you—” The Dolma didn’t know what to say, so instead she just threw a killing glare at the man and huffed. “Never mind that, I am here for information.”
“Well, you’re not getting any.” The man then squinted to take a closer look. “Does the King even know you’re here? You don’t really seem like the kind of person who lives in Camelot.”
“I don’t. I’m from elsewhere, but I have come here to pull the truth out of you even if I have to use my bare hands to reach down into your throat to get them.”
After Merlin wears out the Dragoon disguise, he decides to break out the next new diva for Camelot to deal with. Gaius is still all too done with his ward and his shenanigans and, really, the old man is just begging for retirement before Merlin finally kills him off.

Summary
The man blinked at him. Then, he laughed again. So, Dragoon did as he did best, he improvised with absolute chaos.
“I—what the…did you just throw the bread at me?” the man roared, very clearly trying to get a crumb or two out of his eyes, where Merlin had tossed the thing.
“I need to know where a certain valuable belonging to the Pendragon household is.”
“Wha—” the man began, though stopped when he saw Dragoon holding another piece of bread. “Don’t throw that at me again, you deranged old man!”
Merlin disguising himself as Dragoon the Great is as chaotic as it's always been, and poor Gaius is sick and tired of it. Merlin's having a blast, though.

Summary
Arthur caught his sorcerer’s eye again. “If Emrys did have a simple, human identity, you wouldn’t have any suspicion who it could be, at all?”
“I wouldn't, I’m afraid.” Merlin shrugged one shoulder, seeming somewhat defeated. “I’ll look into it.”
Once, years ago, Arthur had been sure he could tell when Merlin was lying through his teeth. How frustrating it was to know that couldn’t be further from the truth.Or: In a fixed-it post-canon, word begins to get out about the godlike sorcerer Emrys who will aid the Once and Future King to unite all of Albion. This, of course, results in all the leaders of Albion beginning their attempts to win the elusive Emrys’ favor, in order to be chosen as his prophesied King.
Even as his Court Sorcerer, Merlin lives to antagonize Arthur and decides to inform the world -as Emrys- that he has already chosen his King, in a... less-than-conventional way.(Can be read standalone from the series.)

"You seemed as if you were hiding something during Father's interrogation," Arthur remarked quietly, fingers gently prodding at a bruise.
Merlin didnt open his mouth, eyes focused on a spot above Arthur's head. "Merlin, did you manage to lie to Father about something?"
Merlin swallowed, the compulsion pushing at him. "Technically, I didn't say a lie," he said carefully and Arthur paused, frowning at him.
"What do you mean technically?" He demanded.

Someone tells Uther they saw Merlin doing magic, so he doses him with a truth serum. Merlin might have learned something from the Dragon after all
