Summary
Zuko has been stuck for months in meetings with ambassadors and diplomats, half of them wanting his head, everyone expecting him to suddenly have a solution for a 100 years of disasters, and he feels like he has not slept in weeks. So yes. He might be a teeny tiny bit miffed.
His head is pounding and his eyes feel heavy. He moves up a hand to rub at them, part tiredness, part frustration and oh. Oops.In the midst of all the shouting, Zuko’s eye falls from its socket and lands with a small, thunderous thunk on the table in front of him.
Tldr: Zuko is tired and has been working his butt off in the peace talks post-war, and he forgot that when you have growth spurts, your prosthetic does NOT grow with you. In turn, he manages to give every dignitary a heart attack, which his friends very much enable. Oops?

Summary
They were in the engine, a couple minutes out from the station when Buck’s worst nightmare came true. A voice crackled over their radios, “Firefighter down! Firefighter’s been shot!” Buck’s blood ran cold at the voice. He knew that voice. That voice spoke at Eddie’s probationary ceremony. That was Captain Mehta, captain of the 144.
OR:
Buck and Eddie were married and at different stations. No one at the 118 knew Buck was married. Until Buck spiraled after the sniper.

“Aren’t you just so lucky to have a boyfriend that makes breakfast for you every morning?” Buck teased, smirking at Eddie.
“Won’t have a boyfriend for much longer,” Eddie replied. He dropped another kiss on Buck’s cheek before backing away. “See you tonight, have a good day!”
And then he was gone.
Buck stood frozen in the middle of the kitchen, his hand still hovering mid-air where he’d had it extended towards Eddie.
The rest of the room continued to exist–the fridge still hummed, the clock still ticked on the wall, the coffee pot still hissed–but Buck couldn’t really hear anything over the blood roaring in his ears.
What did Eddie say?
OR: Buck spends the entire day thinking Eddie is going to break up with him. Eddie asks Buck to marry him instead
