Rin has always been the undisputed best amongst Blue Lock's assassins. It was never something that needed to be said, never something that needed to be questioned. “Yeah, I am, but only for Jeno. How’d you know, Donghyuckie?” Jaemin says, the corners of his lips curling upwards, and Donghyuck snorts.
“I can’t believe this. The nerve,” Donghyuck mutters under his breath.

A dull ringing rose in her ears. She scanned and re-scanned the last sentence, as though staring at it would make it change, but it still said the same thing: "Your scores do not qualify you to receive one of the three starter Pokémon."
Well, there it was, the answer spelled out in black and white. She wasn't good enough, and that was that.
