Hitoshi sighed, but it sounded more like a cough. "Honestly," he hummed, "it's a bit like that villain who turned my legs to jelly and you came to rescue me. The vigilante who stole my heart away during a fight."
Slowly, leafy eyes caught his, gifting him with a soft, bloody-toothed smile. "You admit... I stole y'ur heart?"
With Hitoshi's chin on the shorter one's shoulder, he could easily match that mellow smile.-
Aizawa has never hoped to find the end of a trail so quickly.
However, upon seeing the edge of a creamy blanket off to his left, the cold little cavern seemed empty of oxygen.
The blanket that he'd gotten for two teens who never stopped moving, knives and metal masks gleaming in unison when faced with moonlight and villains, capture weapon and heroes. Grimacing and clinging to the other, as if waiting to be hurt all over again.
It seemed… fitting for them to leave this world with it.

Summary
Dinobots were supposed to be extinct.
Cybertron had changed too much for them to survive: ages of brutal heat, collapsing ecosystems, endless civil wars, and the merciless hunts of the Predacons, their oldest and greatest enemies. In the present, Dinobots are nothing more than myths told by old bots, fossils buried beneath dead cities, and warnings carved into territory no one sane dares to claim.
But the Autobots are desperate. They need land, resources, and a strategic foothold. So they cross into a forgotten region of Cybertron, ignoring every old warning that says the territory does not belong to them.
At first, the silence feels like abandonment.
Then the forest moves.
The Autobots soon learn the truth: the Dinobots never died. They adapted. They hunted. They remembered. And among the ancient living nightmares stalking the forbidden land are Starscream and Bumblebee, two Dinobots and lovers who have survived for eons.
The Autobots did not discover empty territory.
They walked into a feeding ground...

Clearly, the offline yellow frame trapped by blackened earth had been trying to get clear even before the final explosion, likely ferrying his charge to safety. Small organic fingers tugged and shoved at the comparatively massive rocks, delicate skin tearing and leaving behind streaks of red fluid. But despite his panic, despite the pain, the human refused to abandon his guardian.
“Bumblebee,” he choked out, voice thick with emotion.
It reminded Soundwave all too much of another scene, long before, on another planet entirely.

After the war, Bumblebee had grown tired of expectations costantly forced on him, of duties that never ended, of being told who he was supposed to be.
At first, he hunted Decepticons with his team on Earth. But then the council stepped in, insisting he attend the Academy to "refine his skills", because apparently — he wasn't good enough in his job for them.
A year later, framed for a murder he didn’t commit, Bumblebee fled. Branded a fugitive, he vanished into the underground and became something else: an assassin, striking from the shadows to target the Council that betrayed him.
Eventually he got captured, the Council deemed him too dangerous for prison and sentenced him to the shadowzone.
But something went wrong.
Instead of exile, he woke up on the Nemesis—Megatron’s warship. Mid-war in the past.
Though it's just a nightmare, right?
