Rhaenyra wasn't being exiled, not officially at least. She was simply… going home. But Grandmother's intention was clear, and everyone knew that she'd very well never return. This could be the last time either of them saw her.
At least they get to say goodbye, Baela thought bitterly before she could stop herself. She wasn't sure getting to say goodbye to Mother would have made any difference at all.
