Have you ever fallen in love with someone? You probably say yes to that, as most people have fallen in love at least once in their life. Maybe you have only fallen in love once, and they were the one. If that’s true, then you’re one of the lucky few. Many people fall in love many times in their life time, many, many times. Some people fall in love with a few people, and find their “person” in one of those few. A few people fall in love twice, with the same person both times. Those people are the unlucky ones, because usually, it doesn’t go well. Maybe it does, but again, if it does, you’re a lucky one. Remember that. Also remember, to always, always tell people that you love them, because they may not know that. Sometimes, they may even love you back.

A serious-looking “MJW” watermark adorns the top of each page, totally at odds with the entertaining missive and its author’s garbled cursive. Will laughs quietly to himself again. What sixteen-year-old boy on earth has monogrammed stationery?

Summary
Will had climbed up to Mike’s window with a practiced ease, and while he always felt bad about waking Mike up from his much needed sleep, Will needed him, needed his soft and gentle touches, needed to know that Mike was alive and that he could keep Will safe from himself.
And now, Will feels more than just safe – he feels content. He’s sitting on the sloped roof of a house he’s known like the back of his hand since he was six with his legs curled up to his stomach, head resting on his knees, as he watches the love of his life blow smoke from his lips.
will has a nightmare the fall after the world goes back to normal. mike is there for him, always.

“It’s not like I don’t drink at college too, you know, I mean, just because I don’t go to frat parties, if you’re worried I’m going to judge you or something—”
“That’s not what—” Will huffed out a laugh, staring up at the ceiling. He turned around. “I go to gay bars, okay? It’s—just, not your scene. Obviously.”
Will’s face twisted on that last word, half a grimace. For some reason, it was a punch to the gut. Something defiant rose up within Mike.
“Well, do you have to be a card-carrying member to get in, or something?” he asked, eyebrows raised. “I mean, a bar’s a bar, right?”
Will’s face broke into an uncertain smile. “Mike…”
“I came here for the Will Byers New York experience,” Mike said, earnestly. “Am I going to get it, or what?”
Mike visits Will in New York and realizes a few things.
