Summary
The man held out his hand. “The world is dying and we need someone of your caliber to join us. We’ve found a pilot, one scientist and another engineer for this mission, and I’ve been thinking of recruiting you as our backup. Would you accept the job?”
What they didn’t say was, “you are the son of heroes, you should know the stakes better than anyone else if you refuse this,” or, “you’re far too qualified for this mission, that’s why we ask you to die for us,” or better yet, “you have no attachment in this world. You have no family, no partner, not even a pet rock. Other than the holograms that you so lovingly call your family, who else would mourn you if you die in this mission?”
Not that he had much of a choice, truth be told. If he refused this, then he was pretty sure that they would do everything in their power to make him change his mind.
So, he smiled and grabbed the hand. “Sure, I’d love to contribute to this mission,” he said and wished to whatever deity that was listening out there that the tremor in his hand wasn’t that noticeable.

Summary
That night, when both Tok Aba and Boboiboy returned home, the old man stopped his grandson for a moment to ask:
“How are you feeling?”
Boboiboy didn’t miss a beat.
“What kind of question is that, Tok Aba? Of course I’m fine!”
As much as that answer was supposed to reassure Tok Aba, it had the opposite effect.
Looks like Tok Aba would have to talk to his grandson’s friends and ask for their help.
or being a hero sometimes is about finding a different way to express himself - it was almost subtle enough for others to miss the signs.
