Jason rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn’t hallucinating. He hadn’t had a proper eight hours of sleep in days, but upon reopening them, the black rabbit was still there. It was perched outside his window, using fluffy paws to scratch at the bulletproof glass.
Frustrated, the rabbit shifted from aggressive pawing to attempting to bite through the pane. It was, of course, unsuccessful—the window was far too large for its tiny snout. Having been flabbergasted long enough, Jason finally walked over and knelt so he was at eye level with the creature.
