Après le tournoi de Cendregué, le prince Baelor Targaryen ne succomba pas au coup porté par son frère Maekar. Grièvement blessé et affaibli, il survécut. Cet événement changea profondément Maekar. After the Tourney at Ashford Meadow, Prince Baelor Targaryen did not die from the blow struck by his brother Maekar. Gravely wounded and weakened, he lived. This event profoundly changed Maekar. Consumed by guilt for having nearly killed his brother, he softened, becoming more attentive and tender, especially towards his children.
