"I’m sure I could call your blood alcohol off your breath alone. Jesus, Frank." One of Robby’s hands lifted off his shoulder and caught his chin instead, using the grip to tilt his dilated pupils towards the street lamp’s glow. "How much have you had?"
"Less than you’d think." He was slurring his words, trying too hard to convince Robby.
"Oh, I’m sure."
"That was an incon— incovient— innn—" What was the damn word he was looking for?
"Inconvenient?" Robby helpfully supplied. Frank’s hand shot up, index finger pointing at Robby and eyes narrowing.
"Thank you! It was an incon ... y’know?" His hand flopped uselessly between them, surely aiming for something important Frank wasn’t so sure of right now. "Bad timing."
