Summary
My take on the direct aftermath of the Battle of Hogwarts from Harry and Ron's perspectives. Heed the tags, there's some references to some of the trauma from the previous books, depictions of bloody injuries, scars, and the train of thought that leads to a mental breakdown. It's a bit intense.

Summary
The Doors of Death were closed. Percy and Lee were out of Tartarus. Nico and the others were taking the Athena Parthenos back west to settle the division of the gods. Things were looking up. And yet—
Surviving Tartarus was no easy feat. The wounds they'd emerged with had scarred deep into both body and psyche.
Nico, forced to delve into the shadows to complete their quest when the memories of the void still haunted him, terrified that each trip would be his last. Lee, struggling with a hair-trigger rage that threatened to burn those who got too close.
And Percy, his sense of self more rattled than ever before, keeping a secret that he knew could get them all killed.
They'd survived hell itself. They just might not survive the aftermath.
And above it all, the mountain awaited.

Summary
Harry watched in sickening disappointment as Snape vanished his potion with a flick of his wand.
“Disappointing, as expected.” Snape said curtly, his face twisted into a cruel sneer, before making his way to the next table.
A spark of rage ignited in Harry’s gut, but it was quickly extinguished from the wave of apathy that followed. The professor had barely looked at his potion before deeming it unworthy, the same thing he had done for each class in the past week.
Although Ron and Hermione were both outraged by Snape’s harshness, Harry knew why the professor was acting the way he was. Just a week ago, Harry had intruded on the man's worst memories, of being ridiculed and disparaged by Harry’s own father, someone, until this point, Harry had looked up to and admired.
Or:
Snape only sees Harry as an Echo of his father. So what happens when he is forced to realize that maybe Harry is not who he thought.
WARNING: Contains Umbridge and use of Blood Quills. Read at your own risk.
