Summary
Regulus has owed his life to James Potter ever since he carried him out of the cave.
Seven years later, James comes back to collect on his debt, disrupting the quiet existence Regulus has carved out for himself.
All of a sudden, he’s hounding his every step, determined to become Regulus’ friend even as he coughs up petals tinged with blood.
And Regulus might just let him. Because this time, it’s his turn to save James.***
“Your concern is touching.”
“Yes. It’s what I’m known for. Serving Dark Lords and being concerned about my fellow Wizards,” Regulus snorts.
“And for being a mean Potions teacher,” James replies blandly, not rising to the bait.
“I can be quite mean, yes.” -

Summary
Regulus follows James with his eyes. He examines the unruly brown hair, the red t-shirt clearly a size too small—stretching over his chest and arms—and the grey sweats that are more wrinkled than the aged skin of Bellatrix’s neck. He watches as James grabs a ginger beer from the fridge, pops it open, and takes a long drink, noting how his Adam’s apple bobs beneath the stretch of his throat and how his golden brown skin looks underneath the kitchen light.
Regulus waits for him to look back.
He doesn’t.
OR:
Regulus transfers universities to be with Sirius after their parents die. James is a complete asshole about it. He has his reasons.

Bookmarker's Notes
Life with very little laughter had shown her the value of mindlessness. Hours had been spent observing Chicago’s blue skies in the spring. Days had been lost admiring a bit of pretty colored glass she’d found. It helped her forget her hunger, her fear. It made it easier when she looked up one day at the rough, unwashed crowd around her and realized that she was one of them.
She’s clean again. Could maybe walk through a mall or a grocery store without security following her without any pretense at subtlety. Someone might give her a seat or buy her a coffee and not expect her to blow them in return for the favor or offer her a night in a warm bed and the promise of shooting up. She doesn’t look like that person any more.
She has a demon and her addicted, dying savior to thank for it. It’s too much to consider, so she doesn’t.

Summary
After the werewolf prank, Severus disappears. He’s still at Hogwarts—at least, he thinks he is—and he’s probably still alive, but no one can see or hear him. Except for Lupin.
Remus, meanwhile, is avoiding the other Marauders—as well as everyone else—and Snape becomes the sole exception to his self-appointed isolation.
As they work together to look for answers about Severus’ condition, the unlikely pair drift toward friendship. But building a relationship of any kind presents a challenge when neither of them is sure Severus exists at all.

Summary
It begins in Hogwarts—banter sharp as blades, pranks that turn into something softer, glances that become gravity. Love arrives loud and reckless and impossible, and for a while they pretend that’s enough.
Then the war stops pretending too.
The Order needs soldiers. The Marauders need each other. And Marlene and Sirius—fire and ruin and devotion—need what Voldemort will never give them: time.
A story about first loves that turn into lifelines, about the people you’d burn the world to protect, and about hope—the jagged kind that bites back.
