He had found her two hours ago, when he'd come home from grocery shopping, sitting on the front porch of his house. She hadn't said anything when he had expressed his surprise over her presence. She had just looked at him in a strange,scared and confused way. He had invited her inside but she had made a vague sound of refusal. He hadn't protested, only taken a seat on the chairs placed out on the porch, a safe distance from where she sat on the stairs.
