Summary
Where during their Akademiya days, Alhaitham accidentally marked Kaveh during a post-party night and he doesn't remember a single thing the day after. Kaveh, who is an Omega, remembers and tries to let Alhaitham know about the mark on his neck but then a fight happened. They clashed together due to different opinions about the paper they were working on together, causing Alhaitham to say scathing words that permanently scarred Kaveh.

Yanqing was never one to believe in superstitions.
Perhaps it's because he grew up without the care of a proper adult—no parents to instill a fear of the dark or of roaming monsters and spirits—but he tells himself that even then, he wouldn't have fallen prey to such childish stories. Life is hard enough, dealing with the troubles of the real world. There's no time to worry about frivolous fairytales.
So when an odd job brings him to the edge of a sprawling forest, rife with rumors and unfounded belief, he doesn't even notice the bright, golden eye watching his every move as he starts along the path.
