    Summary

The Tsaritsa adorned her palace halls with paint and canvas, a collection built up over centuries, images personally commissioned from her favorite artists each era.
The hall to the throne featured only the absolute best, and she had decided it was time to feature a new collection. A complete set of portraits in the likeness of her Fatui Harbingers. That was the task put upon the newest in line of the crown’s artists.
Meeting her majesty’s standards was easy enough, at least when compared to wrangling the leaders of The Fatui into sitting down to paint. Especially when some are far less cooperative than others. And certain doctors are terrible at staying seated… Thankfully, the artist has always enjoyed pretty subjects, even if they're quite finicky.

    Summary

This liminal space, abandoned and rotting, would squeeze into a point of singularity soon, taking Pantalone into the throes of death along with it. Still, he would take a moment to admire this desolation. Black roots snaked along the parched ground, reaching into the cracks in the tree barks, creeping up the stone walls that caged the entire garden. The red sky above gleamed like thin plastic, drooping lower and lower, crushed under its own weight.

The air burned and charred his lungs, but he welcomed it. With every inhale, he swallowed glass, and now the blood coating his tongue was so thick he almost slurred his words. “You’re finally here. Asmoday.

Or, Pantalone makes a deal with the shade of space.

    Summary

The doctor always wore a mask. He crouched and leaned in, close enough that Feofan could see the viscera-glint of his eyes through the slits of bone porcelain. With one hand, the doctor pressed his gloved fingers into Feofan’s mouth, to deposit a single pill. Feofan swallowed. The pain in his midsection bled out of him within seconds.

“Well, Feofan Sergeyevich, today is your lucky day.”

    Summary

Dottore is not dead. He took two months to reassemble his soul — all of it, every deleted segment, every fragment, the original and everything after — into one complete person. He has been preparing for this for thirty years.
Pantalone finds this out when a voice speaks from the dark of his empty lab.
What follows: one surgical procedure, the end of a political engagement, a royal audience that goes better than expected, Childe being left unsupervised with children for two months, and four kids who are — genetically speaking — almost entirely Dottore.
Pantalone is still annoyed about that last part.
