Summary
Two months after Rhodes Hill and ARK, Leon Kennedy is supposed to be recovering. Grace Ashcroft is supposed to be getting her life back together, raising Emily, and leaving the worst of it behind. Instead, old names, buried research, and overlooked connections begin surfacing again. First in Philadelphia, then at a Biotech exposition in Phoenix where nothing is as clean as it looks. As Leon follows the trail and Grace struggles to stop surviving long enough to actually live, both of them are pulled back toward the kind of horror neither of them really escaped. As old wounds reopen and separate lives begin to converge, recovery gives way to another descent into conspiracy, infection, and terror.

The unimportance of being important, how difficult it is to let someone love you when you don’t love yourself, and many other contradictions, hypocrisies and straight up lies that make the world worth fighting for.
