    Summary

There is no clear moment, not really, but there is one that sticks out in his mind, when he knew with a sickening sort of thud inside him, a punch to the jaw in an anything goes bare-fist fight, no chance to hide his weak spots in the aftermath.

“No.” Suguru says, enunciating carefully, as though his lack of diction is the issue.

“But Suguru,” Satoru whines, heavy on the last syllable, and Suguru can feel Shoko shift beside him.

“Why do you say his name like that?” She snips before Satoru can continue with his impassioned plea or Suguru can try to intercede, cut him off. “Just say it normal, be normal.” She kicks out and misses Satoru, standing at the edge of the bed, and hits Suguru, who grunts in response. “Oops.”

    Suguru waves it off.

“When is he ever normal?” He asks, rolling his eyes at her. Shoko snorts out a laugh, her leg resting over Suguru’s shin, a comforting warmth.

“So true.” Shoko responds, flicking open her phone.

“I’m literally right here.” Satoru practically shouts, tossing his sunglasses haphazardly onto Suguru’s bedside table, “terrible friendship, terrible friends,” and Suguru closes his eyes because he knows what is coming next, “Suguru,” Satoru whines again.

Beautiful story about love, tenderness and healing. About being gentle despite abundance of violence.

I love how Suguru had to leave for some time to even start healing. It's a long, hard process 😭 But he is trying 😭 My poor depressed baby 😭
Satosugu raising 4 kids with love 🥰 All jujutsu students hoping for Geto-sensei instead of maniac Gojo had me 😂😂😂

“Oh.” Satoru says after a moment. “I forgot you could see me.”
“Of course I can,” he says, too honest, “you’re my person.”
“Okay.” Satoru repeats, standing up, “you’re my person too, you know.”
    🥺🥺🥺

    Summary

“I like the way the sky looks at this time,” Satoru says. His voice is soft. Has been for a while, oddly muted and demure. So different from what he used to be like.

    ...

Suguru called Satoru after he found Mimiko and Nanako and asked for help. Satoru came.

A year later, they live together with their four kids and growing miscommunication problem.

    Summary

**BIG SPOILERS (if, like me, you got to this game over a decade late)**

A final scene for Dragon Age II, picking up from the moment the party walk out of the Gallows, because when the credits rolled it was like a spear going into my heart and I had to just... they had to SAY THINGS to each other.

In the aftermath of Meredith's defeat, Hawke's party make their way out of the city calling them its enemy. They are exhausted and fractured, unsure what there is for them and what they can still mean to each other and Thedas. They stop at the remains of The Hanged Man and finally break the silence.

[CW: Grief, displacement, personal conflict, loss of temper, emotional pain, negative self-talk, Fenris' fantasy version of chronic pain, fantasy oppression that isn't that fantasy, gallows humour, some descriptions of animal remains in the first part.

Please read the start notes before you yell at me about Anders discourse. Also please don't yell at me about Anders discourse. And yes I know I've made them walk a totally illogical route through Kirkwall, they needed to for art.]
