Jimin ran his fingers along his wrist and felt for his pulse, and sure enough, it was racing. His body felt restless, itching to shift and move to expend the adrenaline that he just built up. That man was.. that man was just like that fucking creature on the canvas. Dark, and violent, and menacing. And yet.
And yet, god, was he just as angelic.
In an appalling turn of events, that man was breathtakingly handsome.
Jimin didn't even get to fully take him in, and he was enraptured. Everything about that man seemed volatile, and yet Jimin wanted to see more. He wanted to know more. All of his life, he’d been sheltered by his loving parents, kept hidden in the confines of their tiny home, only allowed sunlight on the short walk to and from the car so he could go to school.
He held steady in closets, covered every inch of his skin that the weather would allow him, and he never ever got too close to windows.

Summary
Jimin always knew he'd present as an alpha, until he doesn't, but he never expected Jeongguk to present as something neither of them were prepared for. Though they have a falling out due to misunderstandings, university life brings them back together, and with that comes a new chapter in their friendship. What was supposed to be innocent friends helping out one another spirals into something neither one of them can fight because...no one can resist an enigma.
Jeongguk presents late thanks to Jimin's heat, and now Jimin has to pay for it.

“Jimin. I think there was catnip in those.”
He squints suspiciously at the half-eaten box of chocolates on the counter before snatching up the lid. His eyes dart across the text printed on it, then he tosses it aside, reaching instead for the box itself and flipping it over, unbothered when the last couple of chocolates tumble out unceremoniously onto the counter.
Jimin goes stock-still, silent for a long moment.
“Huh.” He sets the box back down, blinking slowly at it. Giving one solid, firm nod, he confirms, “Looks like there’s catnip in those.”

Jimin learns the hard way not to take what isn't his, and Jungkook gets brought along for the ride. Who would have thought that a few chocolates and some roses would get them here? Not Jungkook, that's for sure, but he certainly isn't complaining—not when it means he finally gets to tell Jimin how he feels.
