Summary
Dragons as Westeros knows them are gone, their return not prophesied for another hundred years. But there’s been reported sightings of them for years now. Coincidentally, those sightings happen around the same time a Ser Arlan of Pennytree and his squire are in town. Nobody puts the two together until a certain tourney that changed the course of history.
————————————————————————
Ser Duncan the Tall can transform into a dragon. He’s cool with it, Egg’s cool with it, Aerion is not.

Summary
Dunk didn’t mean to become a dragon. Really, he didn’t. He had meant to join the Ashford Tourney, to win himself a small sliver of honor and glory, and to show the world what Ser Arlan’s gnarled hand had wrought.
Instead, he ran afoul a witch, got himself two damn flapping tents for hands and a tail that did not know how to stop moving.
Not to mention the damn prince on his heels. He did not want to be ridden, damn it!

Summary
Most of Egg’s ever compounding problems are related to those stupid, giant, flying, fire lizards of the past, or, more specifically the fact that they’ve gone extinct.
Most of Dunk’s problems are related to worrying about Egg slowly losing it, so, when he hears his best friend’s weird psychic brother sleep talking of a woman who knows a way to prevent the catalyst to the extinction of dragons he does what any good knight would do:
He allows a time witch to send him 100 years into the past to prevent a war by… babysitting a bunch of questionably behaved teenagers in hopes of imparting some morals onto them.
Or: Ser Duncan the tall prevents the dragons from dancing and subsequently Egg’s death at Summerhall by time travelling to give the people who started it medieval family therapy.

Summary
Waking up after the events of the trial, Ser Duncan the Tall is more confused than ever. Prince Baelor is completely uninjured and nobody seems to remember what has happened but him.
Nor does it explain the reaction upon the discovery of Dunk wounded within Ashford castle, mistaken for a mistreated servant of the household. The dragon princes of the realm do not seem to appreciate such treatment and immediately take Dunk under their wing, much to the hedge knight’s bewilderment.
