No magic Eurovision AU
The last few years the Eurovision Song Contest has been stuck in ballad land, so France decided to say: eff this. If we don’t do anything fun this year we’ll all die. Which is how two anonymous singers dressed up as superhero magical girls ended up becoming the unexpected sensation of the year. This is a story following along their journey.
No previous knowledge of Eurovision needed.

„Nameless!“
The excited greeting rang through the vast chamber high up in the Carina Hall. Nameless turned to the sound, a smile ready on his face. Several of the other Nameless stars around him in the chamber also did, before turning away again - one of them even teasing the very old joke of calling back “Which one?”, but Nameless knew, just from the tone of the voice, that the greeting was meant for him and him only.
Quite an achievement, considering just how many of the stars in the high, deeper space chambers were still waiting to be named. Then again, he knew the star that called for him very well.

Summary
To keep in check the growing power of two families, the Jiang estate and the Lan Clan are issued an edict for the marriage between General Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian, the head businessman of the Jiang family business. As tensions on the borders rise, the two of them are instead taken away to the desolate lands of the Northern Borders; Lan Wangji's turf for the last three years.

Silently, Lan Zhan reaches into the blanket cocoon and pulls out an unopened test, holding it out to him. Of course he'd have another one—the most expensive brand the convenience store down the street carries. Wei Ying nibbles at his lip. "Seriously? You think I should...?"
A nod. Lan Zhan's expression has barely changed the entire time he’s been here, and Wei Ying is just as comforted by it as he is freaked; if they’re really in this big of a mess, then Lan Zhan will know what to do. He’ll figure it out. So, Wei Ying goes quietly all the way to the bathroom, does his thing, stands over the toilet, and watches the small screen on the pregnancy test thinking, thinking, thinking.
“It’s not possible,” he mutters.
But it is. The word blinks up, clear as can be. Pregnant.
Wangxian are friends with benefits & omegas. They share a heat together & get each other pregnant (on accident), which is, like, super awkward for Wei Ying because he's already broken rule #1 of FWBism: don't catch feelings. Whoops?

“Undress?”
“Yes,” Wei Wuxian replies with a sinking heart - it had been a misunderstanding then, though how that actually happened he has no idea. In all of history hasn’t everyone known that artists need nude models? “That’s a requirement. Not all the time, I suppose, and definitely not right away…but a neoclassical piece means a nude or mostly-nude figure, Lan Wangji. I’ll need a nude model.”
“I…Yes, of course,” Lan Wangji prevaricates. He’s too well-disciplined to fidget, Wei Wuxian would guess, but it’s painfully clear that he wants to. “I understand.”

Summary
Wei Wuxian grits his teeth, knowing he has no other choice. Not if it means Lan Zhan’s life. Besides, the Cloud Recesses has the best library and a long history of dealing with curses. It’s the most logical choice, even if he’d like to punch logic in the face right now.
“Wei Ying?” Lan Zhan asks.
He gives him a grim smile. “Looks like you’re finally getting your wish, Lan Zhan.”
Lan Zhan stares back at him, expression blank.
“I’m coming to Gusu with you.”
Or: Lan Wangji gets hit with a curse that requires Wei Wuxian to stay in close proximity at all times. Everything only gets more complicated from there.
